최신 기술을 적용한 하이브리드 방화벽은 모든 네트워크박스에 적용된 핵심 기술입니다. Packet filtering, Connection tracking, Proxy의 세가지 방화벽 기술이 모두 적용 되었습니다. 방화벽은 TCP/IP 라우팅과 NAT(Network Address Translation)를 모두 지원하고, proxy-ARP transparent mode에서도 작동합니다. 추가 보안 기능으로 네트워크박스 방화벽은 프로토콜 이상(protocol anomalies), Connection flooding, 서비스 거부(DOS, denial-of-service), SYN Flooding 등을 포함하는 많은 네트워크 레벨 공격으로부터 서버와 워크스테이션을 보호합니다. Black Hole, Fingerprint Obfuscation, Decoy Technology는 유해한 접속 시도로부터 내부 네트워크를 더 한층 안전하게 보호합니다.
